“The Lincoln Defense” is an American legal series whose season 3 will be released from October 17, 2024 on Netflix.
American legal series created by David E. Kelley, The Lincoln Defense is inspired by the series of novels of the same title by the famous author Michael Connelly and is the sequel to the film with Matthew McConaughey released in 2011. After the success of the first two seasons, released in May 2022 and July 2023, Netflix renewed The Lincoln Defense for a third season. While the first burst of episodes was an adaptation of the second novel in the series entitled The Lead Verdict and that season 2 constituted the adaptation of the fourth book entitled The Fifth Witnessthe ten new episodes are adapted from the fifth book, The Gods of Verdict.
On the casting side, Manuel Garcia Rulfo will take over the role of Mickey Haller. In addition, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole and Angus Sampson, among others, will also be back. Season 3 of The Lincoln Defense welcomes four new actors: Merrin Dungey, Allyn Moriyon, John Pirruccello and Philip Anthony-Rodriguez. What is the plot of The Lincoln Defense ?
From the backseat of his Lincoln Navigator, Los Angeles’ coolest lawyer, Mickey Haller, runs his office and handles a wide variety of cases. After a high-profile murder case involving a celebrity and after beginning a relationship with a client accused of murder in previous seasons, in season 3, Haller finds himself faced with a thorny case: the murder of Gloria Dayton, a prostitute and a longtime friend who he believed had helped get back on the straight and narrow.
