The Popular Book Series The Lightning Thief, Featuring Percy Jackson As the Main Character, by Author Rick Riordan, has been “Mashed Together” to Create the Musical, Said Director Christine Baribeau, A Ckss Music Teacher.

“If you are a fan of the Percy Jackson, Lightning Thief You’re Going To See All The Little Nuggets Everywhere for Those People who Really Love the Book Series,” She Said.

Baribeau Said Special Effects Are A Unique part of the show, noting there are Sword Fights, A Giant Minotaur, Planty of Dancing, Including A Tap Number Along With Some Big Lighting.

Noting the script cam with “Any Gender Casting,” She Said, “Officially you can do Any Gender for Any Character.”

The CKSS Production has Mazzelyn Galbraith, 16, playing the lead role of Percy, who goes by the female name Persephanie.

The grade 11 Student Said the musical is “so different than anything that the day.

“I’ve never been in show where we doing sword fighting and tons of combat and there’s also so much singing,” Galbraith Said. “That’s a very cool aspect that I’m enjoying about it.”

She describes Persephanie As A Typical Student Who Struggles With Paying attention and doesn’t Always Feel Like She Belongs.

“She is Always Getting Into Dis disorder she’s been kicked out of six schools and all these spells of that.”

Galbraith Said Persephanie Learns She’s the Child of the Greek God Poseidon and Ends Up at Camp for Children of Other Greek Gods.

While at the camp, Persephanie is accused of Stealing Something She Didn’t Take, which leads to going a quest to find it, Galbraith Added.

“That’s where all the action Happens.”

Galbraith Said The Show is coming Together Well.

With a month still to go before the first performance, she Said, “We’re Doing Full Runs Now and Everyone’s Off-Book.”

There are six performances Scheduled for Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, Including May 2, 3, 9 and 10 with Shows at 7p.m. On Friday and Saturday and 2 PM Matinees on Each Saturday.

The $ 20 (cash only) Tickets for the show are available from 9 am to no at ckss Every Saturday Leading Up to the Show by Going to Door 13. Tickets are also available at the Door for Each Performance.

BARIBEAU SAID SINCE THE SHOW APPERALS TO Younger Audiences, Several Matinee Performances Are Booked During the Week with Students from Area Elementary Schools Coming to see the Musical.

“Grade 4 Students, They’re Losing their Minds that we doing this,” She Laughed.

Galbraith is look -in to having so many opportunities to internship the musical.

“It’s really Going to be exciting,” She Said.
