The Left Party withdraws an earlier demand for tax increases of 20 billion kroner, according to Dagens industri.
During the fall of 2021, V wanted to tax high salaries more heavily via two new layer limits, something that would bring eleven billion kroner to the treasury.
Now the party’s economic policy spokesperson, Ali Esbati, states that the increase is no longer a priority ahead of possible government negotiations.
Nor is the previous proposal to raise corporation tax by nine billion any longer relevant.
