The clash between Miro Karjalainen of Vaasa Sport and Lucas Nordsäter of Mikkelin Jukurin is transferred to the disciplinary delegation.
The fight seen in the Sport–Jukurit match played on Saturday in the Ice Hockey League gave the series’ disciplinary delegation something to do on Sunday.
The league said late on Saturday evening message service in Xthat of Sport Miro Karjalainen and Jukurien Lucas Nordsäterin the confrontation is transferred to the disciplinary delegation. The clash took place at the end of the second period.
According to the article published in Liiga X, Karjalainen joined the dispute between two other players from the exchange. Nordsäter, who was on the field, joined the same situation and started pulling the Karelian shirt from behind. The situation developed into a fist fight.
Karjalainen immediately received two and five minute penalties as well as a match penalty. Nordsäter received a five-minute penalty and a game penalty, so the disputants were not allowed to play in the third period.
Sport defeated Jukurit with 4–1 goals and opened their winning account for the season to the joy of the sparse audience in Vaasa.
