According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, almost 4,000 people have died since the clashes began in October last year.

The leader of the extremist organization Hezbollah Naim Qassem assured on Friday that the organization would cooperate with the Lebanese army and help it implement the ceasefire agreed with Israel.

– The resistance is ready to prevent the enemy from taking advantage of the weakness of Lebanon and, above all, its army, Qassem assured. Qassem also claimed that Hezbollah had achieved a “great victory” in the battles against Israel.

– We won because we prevented the enemy from destroying Hezbollah or suppressing and weakening the resistance, Qassem said.

Qassem assured that the organization’s support for the Palestinians will continue, but “in other ways”.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, almost 4,000 people have been killed since the clashes began in October last year. Most of the victims died in the last few weeks, when Israel stepped up its airstrikes in Lebanon and also attacked it with ground troops.
