After the grand finale of the Harry Potter film series, the fantasy franchise was continued with the Fantastic Beasts films. The series about the magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) had three parts by 2022.
The latest one, Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets, is now available to stream on Netflix. It looks like it will be probably no more Fantastic Beasts film although the plan was once much bigger.

The future of the fantasy series does not look good
At the very beginning, the Fantastic Beasts series was planned to consist of five films. After the second part, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, failed to meet financial expectations, part 3 caused negative records at the box office.
