The Israeli army released a video stating that it was the last moments of Hamas leader Yahya Sinvar after the murder of Ismail Haniye. According to the video shared on the social media account of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the person claimed to be Sinvar was recorded with the camera on the unmanned aerial vehicle.
ALONE IN A DESTROYED BUILDING
The person identified as Sinvar is seen in a mostly destroyed building.
HE THROWN THE STICK IN HIS HAND
The Hamas leader resisted until the last moment by throwing a wooden stick at the drone before a tank shell was fired at him.
It was reported that Sinvar also wounded an Israeli soldier before being killed.
It was stated that the Hamas leader was alone in his last moments and “resisted until the end”.
THOSE WHO CAME OVER SINVAR…
On the other hand, Assoc. Prof. in the Night Vision program with Hande Fırat on CNN Turk. Dr Levent Ersin Orallı made the following evaluations about the photo:
“It is most likely the Quran or a hadith book. We see that there is a handkerchief. There is a rosary, a dhikr-machine, a flashlight. There is a bullet. In fact, it is something that would be found on someone who was in the field from beginning to end. There is a passport, it does not belong to him.
It can be seen how much he has been on the field and how he has spent his life prepared for all conditions. The most important indicator that they are trying to overcome these difficulties through worship. A soldier on one side, a believer on the other. “The 2 billion Muslim world could not protect Gaza, but a leader in Gaza taught such a lesson to the 2 billion Muslim world.”
WHO IS YAHYA SINVAR?
Sinvar, Head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, was born on October 29, 1962, in the Khan Younis Refugee Camp in the south of the Gaza Strip.
Sinvar, who, like the previous leader of Hamas, Haniyeh, is originally from Askalan (Ashkelon), which remained in the lands occupied by Israel in 1948, graduated from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Gaza Islamic University.
Sinvar, who was first arrested by Israel in 1982 and imprisoned for 4 months, was arrested for the second time in 1985 on the charge of “establishing a secret organization”.
When Sinvar was arrested by Israel in 1988, he was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment four times.
Sinvar, who was released from Israeli prisons after 23 years within the framework of the prisoner exchange agreement signed by Hamas with Israel on October 11, 2011, became a member of Hamas’ political bureau.
According to reports in the Arab media in May 2021, Sinvar survived the Israeli air strike.
Sinwar, who is considered one of the first founders of Hamas’s military wing, Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, was also the founder of the Majd Force, called Hamas’ security and invitation organization.
Sinvar, who took on security responsibilities for Hamas, was known as one of the names that was not widely reported in the press.
International Criminal Court (ICC) Chief Prosecutor Kerim Han requested the ICC’s Preliminary Examination Chamber No. 1 to issue an arrest warrant for Sinvar in a video he published in May.
Israel portrayed Sinwar, the new leader of Hamas, as the “number one responsible” for the Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023.
