This year, the Ministry of National Education had the task of formalizing at the same time the school calendars for the next three school years. It’s done, since the three calendars were published in the Official Journal on Wednesday 7 December. Three ministries were responsible for defining the outlines of the school calendars revealed below:
- The Ministry of Education : it must spread out 36 weeks of lessons from September to July. These must absolutely be divided into five work periods “of comparable duration”, separated by four sequences of holidays (All Saints’ Day, Christmas, winter, spring).
- The Ministry of the Interior : his mission is to keep traffic flowing as smoothly as possible on the roads in order to reduce the risk of accidents when leaving and returning from vacation.
- The Ministry in charge of Tourism : it defends the demands of professionals in the sector, in particular those in the “winter sports” sector. The activity of the latter is indeed concentrated over a reduced period, so they plead for the winter holidays to be spread over four weeks.

He benefits from a free reception service when these lessons cannot be provided to him. issued due to the unforeseeable absence of his teacher and the impossibility of replacing him. The same applies in the event of a strike.” However, the parents’ unions recommend that you immediately notify the rectorate so that a substitute can pick up your child’s lesson time slot.
