The woman in her 60s who was stabbed in central Visby on Wednesday has died.
The murdered woman, Ing-Marie Wieselgren, 64, was a doctor and worked for Sweden’s Municipalities and Regions (SKR). She was in Visby to participate in various events during Almedalen Week, writes TT.
In connection with the act, a man in his 30s was arrested near the crime scene. He was arrested at 17.35 on probable cause suspected of murder, after the woman died.

Nazi connections
The man suspected of the knife attack during Almedalen Week in Visby has connections to the Nazi Nordic resistance movement, NMR, the magazine Expo for TV4 Nyheterna confirms.
