Dean DeBlois, who wrote and directed the animated trilogy, has taken the pen once again and will also direct the upcoming feature film, which is set to hit the big screen in 2025.
The films, along with the TV series in the same universe, have grossed $1.6 billion, and are based on the book series “How to Train Your Dragon” by Cressida Cowell.
They are about the teenager Hicke who lives in a Viking village, and who befriends a dragon.
