Chosen as both Horse of the Year and Coldblood of the Year at the 2021 Ravigaala Parvelan Retu has surprised with his runs this summer as well.
The Suomenhevonen was in his own class at age group starts when he was younger, winning 29 races in a row. Since then, it has also done well in open starts. Most recently, the 7-year-old trotting horse, who lives at Parvela Horse Farm in Orivesi, won the Finnish horses’ Grand Hollola race at the beginning of July and the Grand Champion race in Mikkeli last weekend.
The pace of the horse has been so convincing that it will go to the Kuninkuusravei in Forssa in a week as the early favorite.
