The king was snuffed out on the premiere run at E6 – the Norwegian managed first

The king inaugurated with pomp and circumstance when he drove the reopened E6 after the landslide in Stenungssund on Wednesday.
But in the hidden, a Norwegian managed to take a premiere ride before the king’s ride.
– A Norwegian passed signs and managed to get onto the newly built road, said personnel from the Swedish Transport Administration at the opening according to
News mare.

After nine months, the E6 was finally opened past Stenungssund.

The idea was to give the king the honor of inaugurating the new 400-meter-long stretch – but he was not the first, as Norwegian Nyhetersto reported.

– A Norwegian man passed signs and managed to get onto the newly built road, but he was not allowed to continue his journey on the E6 but was helped to get out of here and on the right road, said the Swedish Transport Administration’s staff at the opening.

After that, the king had to – at least officially – inaugurate the stretch in front of representatives of, among others, the government and Stenungssund municipality.

– It’s wonderful to be completely alone on a road for once. It is something you would have every day, the king told TV4 Nyheterna after the inauguration.

Not open to the public

In addition to the stretch of road, an area beside the road was also destroyed by the landslide on September 23 last year.

According to the first forecasts, the work would take up to a year, but it has gone faster than that.

But even though the king, and the lost Norwegian, drove the new route, it will be until Friday morning before it is opened to the public.
