The king’s blunder
During the celebration of Sarah Sjostrom so the king added a little joke when he said that there were “two queens”, and thus meant that both Sarah Sjöström and Queen Silvia were there. When Armand Duplantis was to be celebrated, the king would make another attempt at a similar joke. The king revealed to The evening paper that he lost his temper and that the delivery of the joke did not turn out as he had intended:
– Yes, I had it going but…
The king fills in:
– Mm, he says and nods in agreement.
Perhaps not our king’s proudest moment, but Duplantis certainly appreciated his presence nonetheless.
