The kidnapped father of Liverpool’s Luis Diaz has been found safe in Colombia.

Diaz’s parents were attacked less than two weeks ago at a gas station in the northern Colombian city of Barrancas. Diaz’s mother Cilenis Marulanda was also kidnapped, but was returned hours after the incident.
According to media reports, the Colombian National Liberation Army ELN was behind the kidnapping. The group is active especially in the border regions of Colombia and Venezuela, where Diaz’s parents also live.
