The key players may miss the decider in the Nations League

On Friday, Sweden faces Switzerland away from home, where Magdalena Eriksson is suspended. Another five Swedes; Filippa Angeldahl, Kosovare Asllani, Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, Lina Hurtig and Rosa Kafaji are a yellow card away from missing the final match against Spain on Tuesday.

– Somewhere you have to be smart, but that’s easier said than done, says Rytting Kaneryd to SVT Sport.

Filippa Angeldahl believes that she will try to restrain herself.

– If there is a yellow card, it is not something I can control, then I have done what was best for the team.

Hear both develop their answers in the player above.

Tough starting position for the Olympics

In order for Sweden to make it to the Olympics, they must win their group in the Nations League. Then they need to win against Switzerland and Spain away from home, plus Spain drop points against Italy.

– It’s not a great feeling to know that it depends on other teams. Unfortunately, we lost it, so it sucks, says Angeldahl and adds:

– But now we are here and the only thing we can do is focus on the last two games. We will end it well with – hopefully – two wins.
