The US has released 13,000 previously classified documents on the assassination of President John F Kennedy in 1963.
This means that 97 percent of the Kennedy documents – which are estimated to include nearly five million pages in total – have now been published.
Several of the documents released now deal with Lee Harvey Oswald, who was convicted of the murder. They contain, among other things, information about his travels abroad and the contacts he had in the time before Kennedy’s assassination.
