How does Fien feel before the match? “Very strong”, is her simple answer. “We have prepared ourselves well, yesterday we already looked at the running round and we also did the cycling route,” she says cheerfully. “And we have already cycled the Pieterpad with our parents, so we are used to something.” She regrets that she cannot swim. “Because I’m in water polo, so I can swim very fast. But unfortunately that’s not possible today.” Father Cedric stands relaxed next to it. “As long as they like it and have fun. They were asked by friends and they really wanted to participate.”
