Nice Käk in grocery stores and gas stations

The win in Sweden’s Master Chef resulted in him publishing a cookbook the same year. In 2015, he started his own company and brand Schysst Käk. The company, which manufactures ready meals in the form of kebabs, falafel, vegetarian kebabs and sauces, is today one of Sweden’s fastest growing food companies, which can now be seen in over 2,000 stores around the country. With its slogan “The whole of Sweden’s home makebab”, the brand is also a recurring feature in Swedish television advertising.

In October 2023, another collaboration began when they took their kebabs to Circle K gas stations around the country.

– We are part of many families’ weekend dinners. Now we want to be able to be there when you’re on your way home from training, going on holiday or when you’re playing with the epan. That we are moving home to Circle K feels obvious, the K stands for kebab, said founder Amir Kheirmand in a press release then.

Schysst Käk’s enormous turnover – increased by 3,000 percent

In 2022, things went very well for the company, which has increased its turnover at a steady pace in recent years. In 2022, a turnover of SEK 270.7 million was reported and the total assets were measured at SEK 53.6 million.

Five years ago, in 2018, the corresponding turnover was only SEK 8.9 million. This means that Schysst Käk has increased its total turnover by almost 3,000 percent in five years.
