The hype surrounding John Wick is unbroken. Even if the fourth part is now scratching the 3-hour mark, the Keanu Reeves franchise continues to draw the masses to the cinema. After the opening weekend, there is now a first financial result for John Wick: Chapter 4, which is more than impressive.

John Wick 4 is already topping the success of the first part
According to the Hollywood Reporter, John Wick 4 grossed $73.5 million over the first weekend after launch in the US alone. The fourth part of the action series is already making waves worldwide proud box office result of 137.5 million dollars.
For comparison: The first John Wick part has grossed 88.7 million dollars worldwide to date, which makes part 4 already more successful. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the launch of John Wick 4 marks Lionsgate studio’s best US launch since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as one of its best so far in 2023.
Plans for John Wick: Chapter 5 are not yet concrete. The universe around the iconic contract killer will be expanded alongside the main series. A series in which Keanu Reeves is also set to appearis in the works, as is a spin-off starring James Bond and Blond star Ana de Armas.
