The Thorengruppen continue to be spotless in the season opener of the SSL. The eighth straight victory came against Pixbo on Thursday evening.
But it was tight inside.
With barely nine minutes left to play, Pixbo led 6–2. However, the Kauppi sisters made sure to turn the match in Thorengruppen’s favor.
Scored a hat trick
Veera Kauppi scored a hat-trick and Oona scored twice as the away side turned the game 7–6.
The Thorengruppen scored their last three goals in the space of 40 seconds.
After tonight’s results, league leader Thorengruppen is three points ahead of runner-up Pixbo.
