Co-founded by two Senegalese artists based in New York, Assane Gaye and Ahmad Cissé, the Jollof Films organization has been working since 2022 to promote African cinema and is building itself as a platform for the creation of works through images for the diaspora and lovers of the continent on this side of the Atlantic. For three days, Jollof Films organized the very first edition of its festival, at the People’s Forum, one of the city’s cultural spaces whose philosophy is to promote minorities. Report.
