Everything seems brilliantly planned. The members of the troupe kill each other, the bus arrives on time and the Joker escapes without being caught. However, a YouTuber explains in a video that the plan is not that brilliant and that it is quite likely that such a plan will fail.

What does a good robbery look like? The YouTuber Despot of Antrim explains in his YouTube video The Joker’s Bank Heist Plan is Terrible that it is quite unlikely that the Joker’s plan worked. He starts the video by showing a good bank robbery from the movie The Place Beyond the Pines.
There he explains what is probably most important in a bank robbery: the probabilities. In the scene from The Place Beyond the Pines you can see many factors that guarantee the safety of the plan:
You see Ryan Gosling’s character take control right away, grab the bank worker, grab the money and flee on his motorcycle. His partner is waiting with a van, into which Gosling drives on his motorcycle and then escapes in a relaxed manner.
The most important thing about this robbery is that nothing can go wrong. There are no actions that require perfect timing. The most dangerous factor in the video is Gosling’s motorcycle ride as he can easily fall or crash there.

However, he gives the bank robbery in The Dark Knight a 1 out of 10.
