Small disappointment for the month of November 2023, Grendizer’s Feast of Wolves was released without the original Japanese voices. Nothing too serious for us players in our forties, since the original version had never been released at the time. But for purists, being able to play the Microids title with the vocal power of Japanese seiyus is important. It’s now done, since we just learned this morning that the Japanese dubbing has been done and that it will be available when the game is released in Japan, on April 18, both on PS5 and PS4. A delay of several months compared to the French version, but which must be part of a desire to offer a refined game, with as few bugs as possible and corrections made to avoid that the Japanese rights holders do not notice the technical problems of the game. A priori, French players will also be able to benefit from the performance of actor Yusuke Hoshino, who lends his voice to Actarus / Duke Fleed.
Message from Yusuke Hoshino (role of Actarus / Duke Fleed)
“I’ve known Grendizer since I was a kid, so I never thought the day would come where I would play Duke Freed, so I’m really honored. When I saw the video of the game, I I was thrilled to be able to pilot this robot and went into recording with a strong sense of justice found in old robot cartoons. This is a game in which You can move the Grendizer yourself and perform old techniques at any time, so we hope you all enjoy the experience of riding the Grendizer!”
Microids Grendizer will be released in Japan on April 18, 2024 on PS5 and PS4, and with it the Japanese dubbing. A trailer was made with the voices of actor Yusuke Hoshino who dubs Actarus / Duke Fleed. He also grew up with Goldorak / Grendizer, so happy to be able to… pic.twitter.com/8qaZqtPbzm
