Unveiled last June on the Chinese social network by nail technician Alexandra Teleki alias @TheHotBlendOfficial, it offers to extend your natural nails a few centimeters by means of a very specific trick. And to believe the number of reactions it arouses on the web, it’s worth the detour… We’ll explain.
Italian manicure, what is it?
Exit the capsules and the stencil, this manicure imported from Italy offers to lengthen your nails naturally, thanks to an amazing technique. Which results in a process of filing and varnishing, which we come to perform to transform the original shape of our nails into a rounded square shape. The idea? How to adopt the Italian manicure?
According to the video shared by the British influencer, making a italian manicure is child’s play. And that’s an understatement, because it only requires a few tools to make it your own, including:
- A fairly fine nail file
- A nail polish (standard or semi-permanent)
- A bottle of pure acetone
- A topcoat
First step of this work? The nail preparation. To do this, start by pushing your cuticlesbefore cleaning the nail plate with a little pure acetone, as recommended by the videographer. Then, file it according to a square shape, if this is not done beforehand, and slightly round the edges of the latter. Then continue by gently buffing the surface of the nail with the soft side of the file. For the most sensitive, it is also possible to opt for a polishing block, so as to smooth without damaging. Finally, to complete the look, the influencer recommends completing her pose with a gel coatand a touch of nail polish Above.
