Cannabis, the system company and Tiktok – that’s what the parties in the 2024 EU elections think
In the four questions above, the parties have given completely different answers. But there are also issues where most Swedish parties are more united.

Cannabis should be legal throughout the EU. Here, the parties completely agree that it is a very bad proposal.Sweden should hold a referendum on leaving the EU. There is also a large consensus here among the Swedish parties. Only SD wants to see one, because they believe that the EU has gained too much power.The EU is to raise the age limit for obtaining an EPA driver’s license. Another proposal where the Swedish parties largely agree with each other is raising the age limit for driving an EPA tractor, from 15 to 16 years. Only one Swedish party, the Liberals, claims to support that proposal.Systembolaget’s alcohol monopoly must be abolished. In many EU countries you can buy a bottle of wine at the grocery store, but Sweden has an exception to the EU rules for alcohol sales through Systembolaget. The motivation for this has been public health. And despite starting to loosen the system’s monopoly a little, most parties are against abolishing it completely.
