In Guinea, the inclusive inter-Guinean dialogue started on November 25 at the initiative of the head of the junta, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya, and boycotted by the country’s main political parties, ended on Tuesday December 20 and the conclusions were delivered public on Wednesday 21 during a solemn ceremony at the presidential palace. Several government officials, senior political, administrative and military officials took part.

It is a document containing 35 resolutions which was given to Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya by the facilitators who animated during just over two months this inter-Guinean dialogue framework.
Spokesperson Makalé Traoré outlines the main recommendations resulting from these consultations: “ Require that the presidents of institutions, members of the government, directors of financial authorities and public companies declare their assets before and after their functions. Provide for independent candidates in local elections only “.
For the candidates for the presidential election that everyone was waiting for, she indicated: ” Set the age limit at 35 minimum years and at 75 maximum years for candidates for the presidential election. But, the resolutions add that for the next elections people with 75 years completed at 31 December 2024 are allowed to apply. »
In a brief speech the Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya said ” believe in the divergence of ideas because this is what allows us to improve and move forward. I would like for once, we put forward the interest of our country. We fight for it “.
