Rosanna Kulju was born and raised in Haparanda, but before high school she chose to move to Oulu to invest in couple dancing. The breakthrough in Finland came when she won Miss Helsinki 2014. It was after that she decided to work with her social media.
Today, Rosanna has over 100,000 followers on her various platforms. She does the content entirely in Finnish, even though she herself sees Swedish as her mother tongue.
– I think in Swedish and dream in Swedish even though it is Finnish, Finnish, Finnish in my everyday life, she says.
Must be able to sell yourself
Since a few years ago, she no longer works completely alone, but has a team with her – largely because she finds it difficult to set her own value.
– I’m not good at selling myself and it’s a big part of this industry that you have to know your worth.
