Everyone is talking about the new satellite photos, which are on the agenda these days when the Russia-Ukraine war continues. New satellite images reveal that much of Ukraine has been plunged into darkness for long nights since the invasion.
LIGHT AMOUNT DECREASED IN UKRAINE
According to the British Daily Mail newspaper; The images shared by NASA compare the amount of light emitted at night in Ukraine on February 3, which coincides with the invasion of Russia, and Wednesday, March 9, when the war continues.
The first image, taken on February 3, shows the amounts of light emitted before Russia’s invasion in cities like Kyiv or on the country’s biggest and busiest roads.
Although many of the white lights appear dimmer than others on this date, NASA explains this as natural cloud cover.
STUNNING IMAGE!
But an image from Wednesday shows the current situation with much less light.
In this image, the entire region, especially the center of Kiev, appears to be almost completely plunged into darkness, and the tiny dots of light are now extinguished.
These two images clearly reflect the impact of the Russian invasion.
