The head of Ukraine’s Presidential Administration said on Tuesday that Russia’s demolition of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant in southern Ukraine is an “ecological carnage”, but that national and regional authorities are working to ensure the safety of local residents.
Andriy Yermak wrote in Telegram that Russia’s actions also pose a threat to the nearby Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
