It was at ICA Maxi in Jönköping that the customer discovered that a new label was pasted on top of the old label on the railings. Both the best pre-date and packag was changed.

In the interview, the store manager tells the fresh goods that it has become a mistake.
-In an eagerness to save food waste, you have wanted to lower the price of the products, but not thought that in this case you also present the best before date with one day, says the store manager and continues:
– It’s not our routines. We never notice about articles. We look very seriously at this. It is important that the routines are followed because it is food safety for our customers so we immediately take this and look over our processes. See what we need to do to prevent it from happening again.
