Lack of people in industry in Sweden is a problem, and now Ekonominyheterna is starting a series about the search for labor in northern Sweden.
Namely, the number of people able to work in Norrbotten needs to increase by a full 50 percent in the next 20 years.
With the help of artificial intelligence, they are now trying to find people abroad who want to move to Norrbotten.
– I think there are prejudices to contend with from the population in southern Sweden – they don’t have them abroad, says Janus Brandin, regional development director Norrbotten.
