The huge tribute to Leo Carlsson after his debut in North America – but also disturbing images last night: “Seeing his talent”

Leo Carlsson made his debut in the Anaheim Ducks’ preseason opener against the LA Kings.
After the game, he is praised – but there is now a concern ahead of the NHL premiere.
– He felt a bit groggy, says coach Greg Conin.

The Anaheim Ducks hosted the LA Kings in their preseason opener at Honda Center tonight Swedish time. A match that the home team won 3-2. But not many of the team’s regular players were on the ice.

Carlsson is praised

Carlsson left the ice scoreless, but is highly praised by the coach Greg Conin still.
– I think he was fantastic. He could have scored a couple of points already in the first period. When he gets the puck, you see his talent. He always thinks a few steps ahead and is very confident with the puck, he told the Orange County Register.

Disturbing pictures

After the match, however, it wasn’t all happy faces. Carlsson was clubbed in the face by the careless Kings forward TJ Tynan, and was forced out of the match. The club’s management believes that Carlsson felt “a bit groggy” and the Swede was awaiting a medical examination after the match.
