Zlatan Ibrahimovic wrote powerful history in Serie A this weekend.
But what the Swede did after the record goal is now causing really strong reactions.
And on social media, a lot of great criticism is directed at the 41-year-old.

On Saturday night was Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the first time back in the starting eleven again for Milan after his long injury absence and also got to wear the captain’s armband. He also did not disappoint by delivering goals directly in the starting comeback.

After the home team Udinese took an early lead, “Ibra” equalized on a penalty just before the half-time break. The Swede scored 1-1 from the penalty spot and became historic in Serie A as the oldest goalscorer in the history of the league.

At 41 years old, Zlatan showed all critics that he is still at the highest level. But the joy would be short-lived as Udinese again took the lead just a few minutes later and in the second half they were able to go 3-1 and win the match.

“Aren’t you ashamed?”

The loss was a hard blow for the red and black in the title hunt and now the reigning champions are a full 23 points behind league leader Napoli. But the loss still didn’t stop Zlatan from two days later posting a picture of himself on social media celebrating the goal.

Along with the picture, the Swedish star has written the words “say my name”. The post has now provoked really strong reactions and the Swede has been subjected to massive criticism in social media.

Because no one can understand how Zlatan Ibrahimovic chooses to praise himself so much after the team lost a match.
“You lost 3-1… Fool,” writes one user.
“You lost the match, scored a penalty after the referee let the penalty go over. Shameless,” writes another.
“How did it go then? I would have preferred if Milan won,” writes a third.
“You lost. That you are not ashamed,” writes a fourth user.
