Resistance to antibiotics is seen as one of the most serious threats to public health. According to the WHO, more than 700,000 people die every year as a result of multidrug-resistant bacteria.
But now there is good news in the fight against antibiotic resistance. Researchers at Chalmers in Gothenburg have invented a spray that kills these bacteria. Not only that, the spray must also be able to be used for preventive purposes.
