It has come time for the final in the HockeyAllsvenskan.
But not everyone appreciates the word “final” in the qualifying match.
Now the league has come up with a completely accurate answer after mocking on social media.
After a long season of HockeyAllsvenskan, there is now a series of matches left before we know who will be the big winner and move up to the SHL again.
Fight for the SHL
Advance favorite Brynäs has not disappointed anyone right away and both won the regular season and made it comfortably to the final series. While Djurgården has had to go a more complicated route but managed to impress in the semi-final against Mora and will now play in the final for the second year in a row.

Seven games will decide which of the classic big teams will have the honor of stepping up to Swedish hockey’s fine room again. On Wednesday evening it is time for the first match of the HockeyAllsvenskan final in Gävle.
Criticism of the final
But there has been some criticism of it being called a final when it comes to qualifying games. Recently, Djurgården published the following words on social media:
“A united Djurgår. A clear goal. See you in the final, together!”, was written on X.

Then you were met with clear criticism from a user.
“Final? They are playing qualifiers for the SHL, it’s not a final,” wrote one on X.
The answer: “Haha”
Then came the very best answer from HockeyAllsvenskan themselves, see the picture below. Where someone changed their logo and added the words: “Qualifying round no. four”.
“Satisfied?”, writes the league in response to X.

“Hahaha, never give up,” writes another.
“Hahah salary increase soon huh?”, writes a third.
