The high summer heat keeps its grip: “Clinging on”

The high summer heat seems to be here to stay, at least for a while to come.
– We don’t see any drastic changes in the weather right now, says TV4 Nyhetern’s meteorologist Ulrika Elvgren.

For several weeks, the weather has been dominated by sun and heat. During Friday, however, there was a temporary – and very short-lived – setback, with more modest temperatures. But now the high summer heat once again seems to be taking hold of the country.

– The heat is clinging on and the temperature will rise above 25 degrees in several places in the coming week, says Ulrika Elvgren.

During the weekend, slightly more stable weather is expected than during Friday, but it will probably not be completely free of showers, according to the report SMHI.

Bumpy but warm

Even if the heat persists, it looks like the weather may be somewhat more unstable in the future. At the beginning of next week, it looks like some rain will move in from the west.

– It will be hot and unsettled with rain and thundershowers, says Ulrika Elvgren.

And the fact that there will be some rain in the middle of the summer heat is still a welcome feature, believes Ulrika Elvgren:

– It will be good growing weather, she says.
