East Azerbaijan Deputy Governor Cebbarali Zakiri said that 2 of the 3 helicopters landed and one crashed regarding the helicopter crash that occurred in the convoy of Iranian President Ibrahim Reisi.
Zakiri said, “I have not reached the scene yet. I cannot say anything about the possible injuries and their number. I do not know how the incident happened.” said.
According to the statement made by the Iranian Red Crescent, it was stated that the accident was located between Kaleyber and Verzigan, and the area where the accident took place was scanned with UAVs.

It was reported that Iran’s Supreme National Security Council will hold an emergency meeting upon the call of Iranian religious leader Khamenei.
