A program of “celestial music” interpreted by a star at the very top of the firmament of French countertenors. Philippe Jaroussky, 44, gives voice to the German sacred repertoire of the 17th century in the company of one of the most innovative ensembles in the field, The Arpeggiata by Austrian Christina Pluhar. Carmen Lunsmann met the heavenly-voiced countertenor in the Swiss Alps at the 66th Gstaad Menuhin Festival which is still on until September 3.
