According to Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti, the accusations against Kylian Mbappé currently do not affect the player or the team in any way.
French soccer star Kylian Mbappé spent two nights in Stockholm last week between Wednesday and Friday.
Mbappé, who was sidelined from the French Nations League matches due to a slight injury, was photographed partying in a Stockholm nightclub on two nights.
This week, the Swedish media reported that Mbappé is suspected of rape and sexual harassment. According to the Swedish legal system, it is a matter of lower degree of suspicion, i.e. there is reason to suspect the football star.
Mbappé and his lawyer Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard have strongly denied guilt and announced that they will take countermeasures. According to the lawyer, these are “defamatory rumors” and they plan to file a defamation report.
The international match window is over and club team games continue. On Friday, Real Madrid’s experienced head coach, an Italian, had to comment on the matter Carlo Ancelotti. Real will face Celta Vigo on Saturday.
Ancelotti said at the press conference that the coverage of the Swedish media “does not affect” Mbappé.

Ancelotti defended Mbappé’s right to travel in his spare time.

Ancelotti strongly defended this solution as well.
– Mbappé took advantage of the break to improve his condition and recover from the injury. He is happy and ready to play and be important to our team. These 15 days helped because he is a different player now than he was before the break.
Real Madrid is second in La Liga with 21 points. It has six wins and three draws from nine matches. Barcelona has 24 points.
