Once upon a time these were Chin. Ind. Rest. a popular address for many Dutch people who feasted on babi pangang and foe yong hai. Picking up at the ‘Chinese around the corner’ has become a cultural asset in our country, because there was a Chinese restaurant in almost every village. But that changes. The number of Chinese-Indonesian restaurants has been decreasing for years in a row. Such a building often gets a new destination, but not always, because these two restaurants have been closed for years.
