The Harry Potter series is now as much a part of the Christmas season as gingerbread and presents. That’s why this news should make many fantasy fans happy: Amazon Prime has just announced in a press release that starting tomorrow, December 1, 2023, nine parts of the fantasy universe will be available on the streaming platform. There is only one small flaw.
These Harry Potter parts are coming to Amazon Prime: Two films are missing
Starting tomorrow, Amazon Prime will have all eight films from the main series, which revolves around young Harry Potter and his friends.
Unfortunately, only the middle part of the spin-off series Fantastic Beasts is available.
Missing: the beginning of the series with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and the conclusion Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets. A strange decision by the streaming service, if it was within its power.
When does Harry Potter continue?
There are currently no further films planned in the Harry Potter universe. The Beasts series is on hold and may not be continued at all, as the last two parts consistently attracted fewer fans. The most concrete project currently in development is the Harry Potter series, which is intended to tell the story of the magician’s student from the beginning.
