• In 2030, there should be six fully professional leagues in Europe, and 5,000 players who are full-time professionals.

• Become the most sustainable sport, and the one with the strongest investment potential.

More and more money

Women’s football has grown strongly in recent years. The transfers have become more frequent, the transfer sums ever higher and attendance records are being broken in matches and minutes.

An example of the increased interest is the WC in Australia and New Zealand in 2023, which generated more than SEK 6 billion and thus became the first world championship on the women’s side to break even.

“Women’s football in Europe has become a sport for the broad masses, it attracts a varied and steadily growing audience, as well as partners who are wholeheartedly involved in making the sport grow”, says Nadine Kessler.

“We promise to continue investing and to jointly take football forward.”
