The government wants to invest in more family homes for vulnerable children.
In the spring amendment budget, an extra SEK 100 million is therefore proposed for that purpose in 2023.
– We need more families to open up their homes to give support and love, says Minister of Social Affairs Jakob Forssmed (KD).
He emphasizes that there is currently a shortage of places in family homes for vulnerable young people.
The government therefore proposes in the spring amendment budget that another 100 million be set aside for subsidies for family homes.
The government also wants to invest money in information campaigns to get more people to want to start family homes.
