According to the proposal, petrol will be reduced by SEK 1.64 per liter next year, and a further 75 öre in 2025. The diesel tax will be reduced by 43 öre per litre.
The fact that the reduction will be greater for petrol is due to the fact that from the turn of the year the government expects to lower the reduction obligation on petrol and diesel, something which is expected to have a greater effect on the price of diesel than on the price of petrol.
