The Government Offices and the Court deleted evidence in the Landerholm store

Former national security adviser Henrik Landerholm was charged with carelessness last week with secret task.

Landerholm has previously argued that the classified documents he forgot at Gällöfsta court yard in March 2023 were found by an employee for him and that the cabinet must have been locked. In fact, the cabinet was unlocked and the documents, which are judged to be of a “secret nature”, were found by an unauthorized person who can be “linked to the violent extremist environment”.

Today’s News Can now reveal that both the current head of office at the Government Offices and the CEO of the courtyard deleted an important e -mail that proved the course of events with the forgotten documents.

Unclear why it was erased

The e -mail – which was sent from the CEO’s mere account to an employee of the private cyber security company CPARA and then forwarded to an official who worked under Henrik Landerholm at the Cabinet of Ministers – went away two days after the documents were forgotten. In a first hearing, the CEO has claimed that she herself called Landerholm the same day he left the courtyard.

How it is that both Gällöfsta and the Government Offices employed the same evidence for Säpo, no one has been able to answer, according to DN.

The maid who found the classified documents at the courtyard has been interrogated by Säpo. According to prosecutor Mats Ljungqvist, the investigators have also received copies of the forgotten documents – but still not found the originals.

Henrik Landerholm left his position as national security adviser in January.
