Yesterday, the National Institute of Economic Research (KI) also announced that it was lowering its forecast for Swedish GDP growth and warned that sky-high inflation for Sweden would enter a recession. KI then stated that GDP growth is expected to amount to 1.9 this year and 1.2 per cent next year.

In the most recent forecast from March, KI expected growth of 3.3 percent in 2022 and 2.1 percent in 2023.
