Energy and Industry Minister Ebba Busch (KD) and Climate and Environment Minister Romina Pourmokhtari (L) are also behind Wednesday’s invitation, which is addressed to hundreds of representatives from business, universities, civil society and the trade union movement.
“Business is Sweden’s new environmental movement. We need to lay the stable foundation for the green transformation of industry, for new technology and climate-smart investments,” writes the prime minister in his post.
According to him, the purpose of the meeting is to take in views on the work with the climate action plan to be presented later this year.
