Due to the late spring, the municipality has not got the lawn at Finnvedsvallen in a condition suitable for playing. Therefore, the team’s two opening home games against Mjällby and AIK have had to be played at the reserve arena Borås Arena.
IFK Värnamo has lost a lot of money on the two match moves, but now the plan has been approved for play.
– It’s a stone that drops from my heart. It’s really nice. It is our lifeline to have our home games at home. Both sportingly and financially, this is extremely important to us, says Kaj Larsson, events manager at IFK Värnamo to Värnamo News.
