  • Confessed during the custody hearing

On Monday, a man in his 30s was arrested for the murder of the woman, which occurred in mid-November last year. During the detention hearing, he himself admitted the crime.

He is a native of the Gnosjö area and has previously been unpunished.

Requested to undergo a forensic psychiatric examination

The man has also requested, through his defender, to undergo a small forensic psychiatric examination – a so-called section 7 examination.

    – The man has been involved in the investigation for some time and has now given a picture of what happened, said prosecutor Johan Stenberg after yesterday’s detention hearing.
