But now he is forced to eat his words.
After a very rude mockery of “Ibra”.
During Sunday was Zlatan Ibrahimovic invited as a guest at the gala “Festival dello Sport” where he had to answer questions from the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport. Then came the most unexpected criticism of a former teammate.
Zlatan’s criticism
Zlatan went pretty hard on the former great talent Mario Balotelli with whom he shared a dressing room at Inter. “Ibra” was not at all impressed with how the career had developed for the controversial Italian.
– When a youngster has the opportunity to make the most of his talent and doesn’t take advantage of it, it’s a shame, says Ibrahimovic in the interview.
– Balotelli had so many opportunities but he missed them all, he just threw away his talent. It is the truth.

The words quickly reached Balotelli himself and he responded in the best possible way after the criticism from Zlatan. On Sunday evening, the former star striker published a picture that was directly aimed at the 42-year-old Swede.
The mockery of Ibra
The image depicts Mario Balotelli holding his hands around the Champions League trophy, see the image below. He was part of the Inter that won the entire CL tournament in 2010, just a year after Zlatan left the club for Barcelona in pursuit of trying to win the same trophy himself.

Ibrahimovic never managed to win the Champions League during his career, one of the few titles he missed out on, and it remains an open wound in his footballing soul. Talk about a completely cocky answer from Balotelli, who represented the big clubs Inter, Manchester City, Milan and Liverpool during his career.

Nowadays, the Italian, who managed to turn 33 years old, can be found in Turkish Adana Demirspor. While Zlatan recently ended his football career for good after winning the Serie A, La Liga, Ligue 1, Eredivisie and Europa League during his playing career but never the Champions League.
